The Collection

The water has always been part of my life.

This collection celebrates the beauty, movement and atmosphere of rowing and sailing, from the excitement of racing to the quiet reflections of boats resting peacefully in a harbour.

Whether capturing colourful sails against dramatic skies or the rhythm of crews moving together in perfect harmony, every painting explores the unique relationship between people and the water.

The Inspiration

Rowing has been part of my life for many years, and I'm incredibly proud of that heritage.

Sailing feels like a natural extension of that passion. Although the boats may be different, the connection with the water, the changing light and the sense of freedom remain the same.

Some paintings are inspired by competitive racing, others by peaceful evenings in a marina or the final light of the day reflecting across calm water. Every one begins with an experience that stayed with me.

My Creative Process

Water is constantly changing, making it one of the most rewarding subjects to paint.

Using layers of acrylic, textured mediums and expressive brushwork, I build movement into every painting. Reflections, changing skies and vibrant sails create balance energy with tranquillity.

Rather than painting individual boats, I aim to capture the feeling of being beside the water.
