ICONS is a collection of original contemporary mixed media artworks exploring the people who became part of our collective memory.

Each original artwork combines portraiture with carefully selected fragments of print, headlines, lyrics, dates, places and cultural references connected to its subject.

Look closely and another story begins to emerge.

These aren't simply portraits of familiar faces. They are layered portraits of lives, moments and memories — from music and film to sport and popular culture.

Each piece is created as an original artwork on canvas and is available to purchase individually.

The Inspiration

What fascinates me most is the emotional response these paintings create.

Collectors are often drawn to an Icon because of a personal memory. A favourite song, an unforgettable sporting moment or an artist who shaped a particular time in their lives. The painting becomes far more than a portrait, it becomes a reminder of something deeply personal. That emotional connection is what inspires me to create these subjects.

A Personal Invitation

If one of these paintings reminds you of a particular moment, a favourite performer or someone who has inspired you, then it has already begun to tell its story.

If you'd like to discuss any of the original artworks, request additional images or arrange a private viewing, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
