The Story Behind the Painting
Some personalities are larger than life, and Elton John is certainly one of them.
I wanted this painting to feel as bold and expressive as the music itself. Layers of vintage concert tickets, typography and colourful collage reflect decades of unforgettable performances, while vibrant paint and textured surfaces bring movement and rhythm to the composition.
Rather than creating a traditional portrait, I chose to celebrate the spirit of an artist who has inspired generations through music, fashion and fearless individuality. Every layer tells part of that story, encouraging the viewer to discover new details each time they look.
The result is a contemporary statement piece that is full of personality, nostalgia and creative energy.
