Marilyn Monroe — Original Mixed Media Artwork
100 × 75 cm | Original Mixed Media on Stretched Canvas | White 10mm Floating Frame
Vibrant, glamorous and full of movement, Marilyn Monroe captures one of cinema’s most recognisable icons in an explosion of colour, texture and expressive mark-making.
Marilyn’s luminous portrait emerges from layers of vivid crimson, turquoise, electric blue, pink, orange and gold. Her unmistakable expression provides the focal point, while the energetic brushwork surrounding her gives the piece an almost cinematic quality — glamorous, spontaneous and wonderfully alive.
At 100 × 75 cm, this is a substantial statement artwork with real presence.
Look Closer
Up close, the painting reveals another dimension.
Layers of paint, fragmented imagery, typography and cultural references appear and disappear throughout the composition. Heavy areas of texture sit alongside softer passages of colour, while traces of printed material become part of Marilyn's portrait itself.
