The Inspiration
Coffee at Campos was inspired by a visit to the beautiful village of Campos in Mallorca. Wandering through its quiet streets, I was captivated by the warm sandstone buildings, colourful shutters and relaxed café culture that perfectly captures Mediterranean life.
 
The Story Behind the Painting
Some places encourage you to slow down and simply enjoy the moment. Campos was one of those places.
As I explored the village, I found myself drawn to a charming café tucked between the beautiful old buildings. The sunlight streamed down the narrow street, illuminating the colourful umbrellas and casting reflections across the pavement after a brief shower. It was one of those wonderfully ordinary moments that somehow stays with you long after you've returned home.
Rather than painting every architectural detail, I wanted to capture the feeling of sitting with a coffee, watching the world drift by while surrounded by centuries of history and character. Soft layers of paint, rich textures and warm Mediterranean colours bring together the atmosphere of this peaceful village, inviting the viewer to step into the scene.
