The Story Behind the Painting
Some of the best memories of Paris are never planned. They're found while strolling through quiet streets, stopping for coffee, watching people pass by and discovering another beautiful corner of the city.
A Day in Paris reflects that experience. Rather than focusing on famous landmarks, I wanted to paint the atmosphere of a typical Parisian street, where café awnings, leafy balconies and elegant buildings create a scene full of warmth and character. Layers of mixed media allow details to emerge and disappear, inviting the viewer to imagine their own story unfolding within the painting.
Soft blues, warm creams and touches of rich colour give the piece a timeless quality that captures the romance and relaxed pace of Parisian life.
